Oil seals for food and other special applications

The oil seal is made by vulcanizing and bonding a synthetic rubber sealing lip to a metal ring, and then incorporating a spring from the back of the lip. The spring-loaded lip shape is used for sealing oil and water, while the non-spring lip shape is used for sealing dust and grease.
